Axyde is building the traceability and compliance infrastructure that underpins the U.S. energy transition. From battery requalification to rare earth custody enforcement, our Vinecore platform (1P9 + VIREN) is the digital backbone of a multi-SPV compliance network aligned with DOE, DOD, SBIR, and FEMA programs.
We’re hiring a Director of Traceability Systems + Platform Architecture to lead the deployment and execution of the Vinecore compliance stack. This is a foundational platform role—you will own the real-world design, field deployment, and vendor integration of our custody and CoA enforcement systems.
Architect and direct the development of the 1P9 custody stack and VIREN governance layer
Translate regulatory mandates (FEOC, 45X, DFARS) into executable custody, screening, and issuance logic
Coordinate with external developers and vendors (e.g., MapLarge) to deliver MVP and site integrations
Serve as technical interface with QA leads (VinBatt, VinGraph, VinMag) to field SPV-level enforcement
Own internal documentation, agency alignment, and audit readiness for custody + traceability systems
Act as system-of-record custodian for all serialized materials entering federal intake or tax credit streams
8–15 years in platform/system architecture, compliance technology, or regulated infrastructure
Experience designing or deploying systems tied to:
Custody and serialization
QA and CoA issuance
Traceability enforcement (e.g., in pharma, defense, energy, or blockchain logistics)
Deep understanding of federal compliance environments (DOE, DOD, SBIR, Title III, FEMA)
Prior experience leading cross-functional vendors or internal teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication—able to interface with both agencies and engineers
$165K–$195K base salary
Bonus tied to milestone delivery (e.g., MVP deployment, SPV integration, first CoA issuance)
Non-dilutive override of 0.25%–0.75% of platform net income, vesting over 36 months with:
6-month cliff
Performance-based vesting continuity
Subordination to investor distributions
This isn’t a title—it’s a functional control point.
You will lead the design and fielding of the most critical infrastructure nobody else is building. Your architecture will govern which materials qualify for federal deployment, which partners clear compliance, and which platforms survive regulatory cliffs in batteries, magnets, and graphite.
You will own the technical enforcement system that underwrites the entire platform.
