MOSA-Compliant Architecture
Axyde Analytics is hiring a Lead Software Architect to drive the orchestration and schema integration layer of a tactical logistics assistant built for the U.S. Army. This role shapes how the system reasons, communicates, and survives under degraded and denied conditions — ultimately powering a mission-critical capability for real-world field deployment.
Designing and delivering the orchestration wrapper that fuses Axyde’s semantic assistant to a logistics Task Framework
Building schema-enforced logic handoffs using JSON + OpenGNS patterns
Engineering DDIL survivability: auto-labeling, fallback inference, persistent task memory
Contributing to MOSA-compliant architecture, schema declarations, and OpenGNS export pipelines
Deploying containerized logic (Docker, OCI, llama.cpp/Ollama) on CPU-only rugged hardware
Python w/ FastAPI, Pydantic, and async processing experience
JSON schema mastery — ability to design and enforce strict interface boundaries
Experience with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or local inference models (Phi-2, Mistral)
Prior DoD, dual-use, or prototyping background — especially in logistics, AI/ML, or mission systems
1099 contractor or milestone-based consulting agreement
Compensation: $130K–$155K base equivalent, with bonus tied to Phase II completion and TRL 6 certification
Flexible remote-first role; some collaboration expected with entities in Colorado Springs, CO as well as Alexandria and Richmond, VA and southern Arizona. Travel <10%.
