🔧 Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced materials scientist or electrochemical engineer to oversee graphite material validation, including purification, spherical shaping, coating, and QA testing across tolling partner sites and university labs.

📋 Responsibilities:

• Coordinate QA intake of graphite feedstock (flake, synthetic, waste-carbon)

• Supervise tolling line handoffs and sample tracking using VIREN™ protocols

• Oversee analytical testing: BET surface area, sphericity, tap density, purity

• Design and interpret coin cell testing for electrochemical performance

• Interface with lab partners (e.g., University of Pittsburgh, NETL)

✅ Qualifications:

• PhD or MS in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering

• 3+ years of hands-on battery-grade graphite or anode material work

• Familiarity with CSPG or battery supply chain QA

• Bonus: Experience with traceability tech, REE tagging, or VINCORE™
