FF&E and Storage Systems Installation Technician - IOTA (Contingent)

Axyde Analytics, LLC is seeking a FF&E and Storage Systems Installation Technician - IOTA for a Department of Veterans Affairs warehouse Initial Outfitting, Transition and Activation (IOTA) opportunity in Martinsburg, WV. This opportunity is contingent on contract award and funding.

What you will do

  • Install designated Government-owned new and reused FF&E within the approved IOTA work scope.
  • Protect finished spaces, verify placement, document custody/installation status and correct assigned punch-list items.
  • Coordinate with qualified trades and manufacturer/vendor installers; remove packaging and debris and support handover.

Qualifications for the assigned work

  • Demonstrated experience assembling, placing, disassembling or reinstalling commercial furniture, fixtures, shelving or storage equipment relevant to the assigned work.
  • Ability to follow approved layouts, manufacturer instructions, safety procedures and quality/punch-list requirements.
  • Ability to perform assigned material-handling and installation duties safely, with reasonable accommodation where applicable; role-specific training or operator qualifications must be current before performing regulated tasks.

Individuals and experienced subcontractor personnel are welcome. Identify your furniture, shelving/racking and equipment experience. Racking anchorage, licensed trades and other specialized work will be performed only by appropriately qualified personnel under approved designs and assigned scope.

Assignment and engagement

Performance location: Martinsburg, West Virginia. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is the recruiting location for this posting. Applicants from the surrounding region or elsewhere are welcome if they can meet the on-site requirements. Individuals seeking employment and qualified personnel available through subcontract partners may express interest. Engagement structure, full-time or part-time hours, compensation and start date will be agreed separately; no employment or subcontract award is guaranteed.

The Government facility is the primary place of performance, with necessary off-site work as permitted by the contract. Normal contract core hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Staffing and any remote work depend on project phase and customer requirements. Installation and relocation assignments require on-site work; some approved weekend work may be needed.

Personnel must satisfy applicable VA background-investigation, identity/access and training requirements before duties requiring that access. Personnel using VA computer systems must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
