Secondary Resources & Mine-Residue Recovery Advisor — Phoenix
THE OPPORTUNITY
Axyde Analytics is recruiting an expert who can determine when tailings, waste rock, slag, ash, red mud, brines or other unconventional materials represent a credible mineral resource rather than an unsupported recovery claim. Phoenix is the recruiting anchor; delivery is remote and assignment-specific.
TECHNICAL DECISION SCOPE
• Establish feedstock provenance, variability, mineralogy, chemistry and sampling confidence.
• Evaluate liberation, deportment, pre-concentration, hydrometallurgical/pyrometallurgical treatment and impurity control.
• Reconcile recovery potential with geotechnical stability, water, permitting, closure and legacy-liability constraints.
• Test mass balance, scale-up, residue disposition, product specifications and commercial assumptions.
• Define pilot evidence and acceptance tests needed before investment decisions.
EXAMPLES OF QUALIFYING WORK
We are looking for an advanced-degree professional with normally 15+ years in mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, geometallurgy, mine waste or secondary-resource projects. A viable résumé must show named feedstock types, test/pilot scale, personal technical decisions, recovery/product outcomes and how environmental or closure risks were addressed.
TERMS
Remote contract; contingent on USTDA award and individual assignment; no guaranteed minimum. Later controls cover availability, résumé authorization, applicable eligibility, Level 1/2 travel and OCI/employer restrictions. No rate is required with the application.
