Federal Award and Foreign-Subaward Compliance Lead
Axyde Analytics, LLC is recruiting proposed project personnel for a contingent U.S. Department of Labor initiative connecting stronger labor conditions and operating evidence in Chile’s copper supply chain with measurable benefits for American employment, wages and industrial resilience. This specialist is not presently designated as key personnel. The position is contingent upon award, final agreement and required due diligence.
Location and commitment
United States; remote, with periodic travel. Anticipated 36-month period and approximately 25–40 percent level of effort.
Responsibilities
Lead federal-award compliance and foreign-subaward oversight. Build and operate controls aligned with 2 CFR Part 200, final award terms and DOL requirements; conduct pre-award and ongoing subrecipient risk assessments; establish monitoring plans and corrective-action procedures; manage payment, drawdown, SF-425 and other required reporting; support SAM/UEI, exclusion and subaward reporting checks; oversee indirect-cost treatment, procurement, travel, property, foreign exchange, timekeeping and records controls; support audits and closeout; and train Axyde and Chilean partner personnel.
Must-have qualifications
- Direct, recent experience administering federal assistance awards under 2 CFR Part 200.
- Experience conducting subrecipient risk assessments, monitoring, corrective actions and closeout.
- Experience with federal payment, drawdown, financial-reporting or award-management systems.
- Experience controlling overseas procurement, travel, property, foreign exchange, payroll/timekeeping and records.
- Demonstrated resolution of audit findings, unsupported costs or partner-control deficiencies.
- Working knowledge of indirect-cost treatment, de minimis or negotiated rates, suspension/debarment checks and federal subaward reporting.
- Availability for at least 25 percent LOE during the anticipated 36-month period.
- Legal authorization for the proposed U.S. place and form of work without Axyde sponsorship.
Experience with U.S. Department of Labor or international-assistance awards and Spanish proficiency are strongly preferred.
Compensation
Anticipated USD 60–110 per hour, subject to final scope, documented market reasonableness, negotiations and award approval. No employment or payment is promised before award and written agreement.
