U.S. Copper Industry and Manufacturing Engagement Lead
Axyde Analytics, LLC is recruiting proposed project personnel for a contingent U.S. Department of Labor initiative connecting stronger labor conditions and operating evidence in Chile’s copper supply chain with measurable benefits for American employment, wages and industrial resilience. This specialist is not presently designated as key personnel. The position is contingent upon award, final agreement and required due diligence.
Location and commitment
United States; remote, with periodic domestic and Chile travel. Anticipated 36-month period and approximately 15–25 percent level of effort.
Responsibilities
Lead engagement with U.S. copper buyers, processors, fabricators, manufacturers, infrastructure users and industry associations. Translate Chilean supply-chain reliability and labor-condition improvements into credible U.S. supplier-qualification, investment, production, workforce, job and wage pathways. Secure substantive industry conversations and appropriately conditioned letters, participation statements or data-sharing commitments; identify U.S. facilities and segments positioned to benefit; and coordinate evidence with the Project Director, economist and MEL team. Never imply a purchase, offtake, investment, employment or other commitment that has not been authorized.
Must-have qualifications
- At least ten years of relevant U.S. copper, metals, mining, processing, fabrication, manufacturing, electrical, construction or industrial supply-chain experience.
- Demonstrated relationships with U.S. copper buyers, processors, manufacturers, end users or industry associations.
- Leadership in supplier qualification, contracting, capital projects, workforce expansion or supply continuity.
- Ability to obtain decision-maker conversations and credible evidence without making unauthorized commitments.
- Availability for approximately 15–25 percent LOE and periodic travel during the anticipated 36-month period.
- Legal authorization for the proposed U.S. place and form of work without Axyde sponsorship.
Compensation
Anticipated USD 75–140 per hour, subject to final scope, documented market reasonableness, negotiations and award approval. No employment or payment is promised before award and written agreement.
